Ken Hutchinson is a general ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon.
Educated in Brisbane, he completed his medical undergraduate studies at the University of Queensland.
His ophthalmology training was completed in the Queensland ophthalmology training program, followed
by senior registrar training in Somerset, England.
He consults privately at Wesley, Coorparoo, and Greenslopes. He is Visiting Medical Officer at Royal
Brisbane Hospital and Greenslopes Hospital where he teaches both medical students and registrars.
Ken is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and represents this
college’s Queensland branch on the committee of Queensland Vision Initiative which is an alliance of ocular
health care professionals aimed at promoting and improving the eye health of Queenslanders.
