Dr Phillip Windle graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982 and went on to complete his ophthalmology training in 1989. He spent fifteen year as an ophthalmologist in private practice in Toowoomba and for ten of those years was a Visiting Medical Officer at Toowoomba Base Hospital. His special interests are cataract surgery and macular degeneration.
