After graduating from the University of Queensland in 1994, Dr Kert went on to complete her residency training in Townsville and Mt Isa Hospitals in North Queensland.
She travelled to the United Kingdom where she gained valuable experience in Ophthalmology as a Senior House Officer in Swansea, Wales and at the Royal Free Hospital, London. She returned to Australia in 1999 to commence her Ophthalmology Registrar training at the Sydney Eye Hospital and later at the Western Sydney Eye Hospital.
Dr Kert joined the Terrace Eye Centre group in February 2003. Her areas of interest are in General Ophthalmology and Cataract surgery and she has special expertise in the areas of Diabetic Eye Disease and Age Related Macular Degeneration.
Dr Kert is a Visiting Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and travels to Roma Hospital monthly for clinical sessions. She also has consulting rooms at Sherwood, Jindalee and Kenmore.
