Education

Queensland Eye Hospital, under the direction of its Education Director, Dr Lawrence Lee, provides extensive education opportunities for medical, nursing and allied health professionals in relation to ophthalmics and day surgery.

Education is regarded as paramount in sustaining a competent and skilled workforce that works together to ensure patients receive the highest level of health care.

QEH clinical staff receive supportive and ongoing education, including an attractive education budget, regular training days and access to clinical evening seminars.

QEH staff specialise in such areas as Ophthalmic Nursing, Advanced Life Support, Infection Control and Workplace Health and Safety.
