Assoc. Prof Lawrence Lee

Associate Professor Lawrence Lee is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and City Eye Centre, Wickham Terrace, Brisbane. A/Prof Lee has expertise in medical and surgical retinal diseases, with particular interests in the treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment and eye trauma. A/Prof Lee undertook his ophthalmology training in Brisbane and completed a Retinal Fellowship at the Sydney Eye Hospital. He was then awarded the Royal Australian College of Ophthalmologists / Alcon Fellowship to pursue further retinal training with the eminent Professor J. Donald M. Gass at the Ophthalmology Department of the Vanderbilt University Nashville, Tennessee USA. He later worked at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital in London where he was involved in managing complex retinal disorders and vitreoretinal surgery. A/Prof Lee has published over 90 journal and conference papers.
